1. How To Update Your Theme
The Envato Market plugin can install WordPress themes and plugins purchased from ThemeForest & CodeCanyon by connecting with the Envato Market API using a secure OAuth personal token. Once your themes & plugins are installed WordPress will periodically check for updates, so keeping your items up to date is as simple as a few clicks.
Step 1 – Download WP Envato Market plugin.
Step 2 – Install and Active the plugin.
Step 3 – If you translated the theme and the language files are in themes/learnplus/lang/, you need to upload them to wp-content/languages/themes/. If not, After updating the theme, any customizations to the theme’s core files, such as PHP files, language files will be lost.
Step 4 – Click the Envato Market‘ menu in WordPress and connect to the API.
2. How To Update Plugins Included
Step 1 – Go to Dashboard > Plugins. Select the plugins you update, and click deactivate and then click to the Apply button.
Step 2 – If you translated the theme and the language files are in plugins/your plugin name/ lang/(EX: plugins/LearnPlusVisual Composer Addons/lang), you need to upload them to wp-content/languages/plugins/. If not, After updating the plugin, any customizations to the theme’s core files, such as PHP files, language files will be lost.
Step 3 – Select the plugins you update, and click delete and then click to the Apply button. All your content such as pages, options, images and posts will not be lost or erased by doing this. However, any customizations to the plugin’s core files, such as PHP files will be lost.
